Prepare to blow friends, family and total strangers away when answering their question, "Where did you get those jeans?" with "I MADE THEM!"
Climb what many consider the Mount Everest of garment projects and sew a pair of rigid denim jeans. In this four-session workshop, students will be guided through making Daughter Judy's Worship Jeans -- a classic five-pocket rigid jeans pattern, with your choice of straight or flared leg cut. Designed for heavier denim with zero stretch, students will tackle jean construction, fabric and fit considerations when selecting a size, hardware installation and our top tips and tricks for wrangling heavyweight fabric on a domestic sewing machine.

Max number of participants: 5
Length: Four 3-hour sessions (12 hours total) + homework
Instructor: Liz Simpson
