SYO (sew your own) Winter Coat! Making a coat is often times a garment sewists' Mount Everest, but it doesn't have to be! In this four week workshop, students will work on a coat pattern of their choice (pending instructor approval), and learn a variety of coat making techniques, from underlining, attaching sleeves, working with heavy coating, traditional closures and more. We've capped this workshop to a maximum of four students to ensure each student has enough 1-on-1 time with Carrie.
To make the best version of your coat in class, students are required to complete a muslin of the coat before the class in order to make any appropriate fit adjustments.
