  • Sunday November 26th, 2 - 5pm
Turn everyday cloth napkins into Heirloom Objects by learning how to sew mitred corners!

A mitred corner is created through a series of clever folds and diagonal seaming. The end result is a tidy (and, dare we say, elegant) cloth that is hemmed with corners free from bulk and unsightly backstitching. This technique can be applied to any flat, 90-degree corner that requires hemming, such as napkins, table runners, drapery, and split hems on clothing.

During our three-hour workshop, participants will put their new skills into practice by creating a set of their very own napkins!

Level: Beginner. Students must have basic sewing machine knowledge and experience sewing straight seams.
Max number of participants: 5
Length: 3 hours (1 session)
Instructor: Emma Moeller
Materials: Class fee includes in-store use of sewing machines and notions. Students are required to supply their own fabric and thread.
