Sewing Beyond the Basics - Closures
Tuesday May 15th, 6-9pm
Do zippers and buttons intimidate you? In this technique class you'll learn several closure methods to help boost confidence when sewing from a pattern or with your own designs. Skills include using a variety of stitches and presser foot attachments to sew 3 different zipper applications (invisible, exposed window style and basic zipper with tabs), add buttonholes and sew buttons by machine. You'll create a mini manual of cheat sheets with helpful tips and sew a sample for each method that you can refer back to in future projects.
Instructor: Annie Fraser Smith
