Home » Herringbone Patchwork
Tuesday April 24th, 6-9pm
In this technique workshop, we will explore "partial seam" construction while we create the gorgeous, woven-look Herringbone design. We will start easy with a simple Pinwheel practice block, then dive into the larger Herringbone project. This design is well suited for fussycuts and linear prints, and is another fun way to use your very best scraps.
Our sample yields enough patchwork to cover the front of a 12" x 18" accent pillow, but can be easily expanded to an 18" square and larger.
NOTE: Students will make best use of class time if all fabrics are cut in advance. Students not able to pre-cut will need to cut as they go during class with a rotary cutter, mat and ruler.
Level: Advanced beginner
