Fibre Rush Footstool
Sunday March 25th, 12-4pm
Rush patterns can be described as four triangles that meet in the centre. Using paper fibre rush, learn to weave this traditional pattern onto a wooden footstool. We'll learn how to prepare the material for use, how to maintain a tight and consistent tension while weaving, stuffing the inside of the weave to create an attractive and comfortable surface, how to join new strands, and completing the pattern with a figure eight weave. Footstool frames are included in this class.
